  • Going for a game this afertoon

Should be good, playing at a championship course, my father (can't play to max handicap of 36) and I (18 handicap) will join forces in a scramble. (total 54)

Dad is ****ing himself, but I'm excited. We will be playing His worker (11 handicap) and his scramble teammate (+2) handicap. (total team handicap 9)

Oh the best thing is we are not using handcaps.

I am just excited to play with someone with that much talent.

It was a par 72, Dad and I ended up with a score of 80. Only used 10 shots of dads. The two others when 6 under par. We were only 14 shots off. But the short game talent they had was awesome. Martin the guy on +2 showed off with an eagle on the tenth, a 380 yard par 4, he hit a 300 yard drive and landed his lob wedge just in front of the hole and bounced into it.

I have played with pros, but none of them had a short game near as good as this guy. It's just the other pros hit more greens than him. To tell you the truth off the tee he wasn't much better than myself. His drives had a major hook, I was much straighter off the tee, I am around 260 yards, today closer to 280, and he was around 300 yards. Our irons were pretty much the same distances, very similar in ball flight. I would hit just as many greens as he does.

But his chipping and pitch shots were always close. from 100 yards in he got it very close. they got birdie on every par 5, eagle on a par 4 and a birdie on another par 4. the rest were pars, where dad and myself hit 11 bogey's 3 birdies and 4 pars.

It's always exciting to play with either - the guy that plays fairways and greens, or the guy that comes up short, but always gets easy up and downs, or leaves tap ins for 2nd putts.
