Whoopee, that's two I've had now. Was only a very short par 3 but it was still a mint feeling. I didn't see it drop in the hole though lol. I hit my shot and thought I'd hit it too short and looked away to put my club in my bag as it neared the fringe but the ground was so hard it rolled for ages and dropped straight in.

Re: Got a hole in one today!
Haha sunnykk I was gonna ask you should you save the ball or use it for tournaments since it's a lucky ball, then I read MJE77's post that he lost it a few holes later
But you are right, if I ever do get a hole in one, I think I will buy a nice small glass case and put the ball in there on top of a very expensive looking red velvet cushion

A new highlight: Golfing the home course on Christmas Day.
I say it too often: If it's golf club shaped, you can play with it.
For the record, I'm a club doctor, not a swing doctor.

Congrats! Did you say this is your SECOND?
I don't even have one yet - and if I ever do, like SimonWoo, I'll be putting it on permanent display.

Re: Got a hole in one today!
Yeah, I got a hole in one at a pitch n putt when I was a kid. Until I took proper golf up I played a bit of pitch n putt each year. I was the only one who ever swung the club properly and came close to more hole in ones all the time as the holes were only short on that one. The one I got it on was 75 yards. The one the other day was only about 120 yards.

It dosen't matter how long the hole is. A hole in one is a hole in one. It is special and hopefully some one is there to witness it. Last weekend, I hit a pitching wedge on a 130 yard par 3 and the ball came to rest an inch from the hole. (So close but no cigar)
