    Re: This Is Great!!!!!

That's a great site, as long as you want a True Temper shaft

Every good shaft company will have some sort of indicator as to which shaft you should be buying (playing).

But the TT ShaftFit is the most entertaining.

True Temper owns quite a few shaft companies - Graffaloy being one. I think they also own Aldila, IIRC.

it suggest that I use an dymanic gold lite with the flex of x1100, for my irons and an E1-70 stiff flex for my driver.

Hi, once again Rick you are allowing your enthusism to over rule common sense. Think about it ,that website is sponsered by True Temper, they are hardly likely to reccomend a rival company. I did give it a try and found their recommendation ridiculous. They suggested I play an x shaft, for Gods sake I am old enough to be your grandfather!!! In any case you are still developing, I wouldnt bother too much about shafts, give it a year or so. Regards

Just another thought Ricky, I take it you want more length with your woods. I can endorse Fujikura graphite shafts, made in Japan. They are very expensive but well worth the money, ask your pro. he may have heard of them. They are widely used on the U.S. tour. In all my years golfing I have never used a better shaft.

Auldyn, have you given AccuFlex a try? I find their shafts work better for me than Fuji.

While Rick has found a great site if you want TT shafts, like you've said, they won't recommend another company.

You can go to other shaft websites to look at their shafts - www.royalprecision.com for the rifle family, www.accuflexgolf.com for Icons, Evolutions, Assassins and the VS339, www.aldila.com for the NV, NVS, and Gamer, www.fujikuragolf.com for the VP and VT shafts, www.mercurygolf.com for Performance Plus and Savage shafts... there's quite a few companies out there.

I actually recommend Rifle and Mercury for people just getting into club building. With the Rifle flex system (2.5-8.0) and with Merc labelling all their shafts with the CPM's, it much easier to get the flexes right for yourself, or your customers.
