Love it. Perfect ball flight. I hit it about 260-285 yards with a nice high draw. It's about 25-30 yards longer than my old Nike driver. That's quite long in the Scotland air and the muddy fairways.
Cleveland Launcher, 10.5 degree, regular shaft.
I was just testing it but I thought I'd give my opinion anyway. It's nice but it hits the ball very high. I don't like looking down at the club though, it feels as if it's slightly closed. Anyone else find that too?

I too have the Ashton MS-5, 9.5* STD. I have it shafted with the Harrison Titanium Striper shaft at a 'firm' flex. This shaft has to be the best bang for your buck on the market. Tight dispersment, as with all Harrison shafts, and still allows workability.
Ben, if you can match a shaft up to the head you have, you will see this club move to the top of your depth chart. This head/shaft combination has unbelievable distance.
I have a Taylor Made R580 D with 10.5 degree of loft and a regular flex shaft. I bought this about 6 months ago brand new off of Ebay at a very good price. I am a 24 handicap, but I can hit that thing close to 250 yards on average and occasionally will rip one 280-300 yards, without swinging especially hard (yes, I am a 24 handicap but my weakness is my short game and I spend most of my time these days working on that aspect; for some reason I have a lot of confidence with my driver). I love the club. They are even cheaper now than when I bought mine; I think they go for about $150 or less. I did not buy the XD model as I do play in club tournaments, etc., and want to be legal.
I also have an Adams GT 410 10 degree with a stiff shaft that I can also hit really well; however, I found that the shaft was too stiff for my swing speed and I have better control with the R580 D. I would say that the Adams GT 410 is a great deal; they are available now probably for $75 or less.
I shy away from anything with removable cartridges. I know that's all the rage now, but I feel like if I had one of those I would be constantly tinkering with the cartridges as opposed to trying to just make a good swing.
I just recently changed my driver to a Titleist 905T 8.5deg with the Fujikura Speeder 757 X-Stiff shaft. Havent had much chance to use it yet but has a nice high boring trajectory than my previous driver. Since its not setup to be draw or fade biased, I think I can probably work the club a little more.
In the bag:
Taylor Made r7 HT 9.5*, stock shaft, stiff flex
Taylor Made Super Steel 3 & 5 woods
Taylor Made Rescue Mid 22*
Taylor Made Pittsburgh Persimmon 7 wood
Taylor Made 360 6i-SW
Odyssey White Hot 2-Ball Mallet

I've got an AccuFlex VS339 (X) that I'm going to put in this head and play at 48" - I'm excited to see what happens.
