i have just purchsed a glove and it doen't fit snug. would this affect my play?

i have small hands and cannot find glove to fit. are there any other small handed people out there who have found glove that fits!?

A glove that is too big needs to be left in the bag. Otherwise, you'll be gripping something that will slip - quite counterproductive.

Maybe what you need to look for is a 'cadet' sized glove. It's usually wider in the palm and stubbier in the fingers.

      Odelay,

Are you a BECK fan? Odelay is in my Top Ten Albums of all time list.

As for the glove, maybe try a large teen glove. Lowpost is right, if it doesn't fit chuck it. I found this out the first time out this summer. Bought a brand spankin new glove that I thought fit but when I got out on the course it started bunching up and really affected my swing. Now I have the perfect glove with no wrinkles.

      Cheers,
      Dan

I don't remember which old pro it was, but one of them stated if you need to wear a golf glove to control your swing, you are swinging too hard.

thanks for the feedback. looks like i will be seaching for a new glove! i wore my old glove yesterday (fits better than new one!) and got 2 blisters on my right hand (non glove hand) i practiced in the range then played nine holes. one on the inside of my second finger , and one on 3rd finger, back hand side. think i was trying to play too hard!

i have started to play without a tee for irons which i have difficulty with
