  • One plane vs two plane

Just had my first lesson with a pro and he was really into the idea that there are different fundamentals for the one plane vs two plane swing (popularized by a recent Jim Hardy book). I'm very much a one planer - just wondering what other people on the board are....

Re: One plane vs two plane

There's another thread floating around with this info, although I'm not sure where...

I'm a one planer (my baseball background says so).

You lucky, lucky barsted, what I wouldn't do to be a spat at in the face.

I wish there was a Pro that new about the Hardy theory or anything about 1P theory at all near me. I went for a lesson with a Pro the other week and now when I see him I get into arguements coz he hasn't got a clue, they must not have had tv or books where he was brought up coz he seems like he's never seen/heard of anybody swinging their arms on-plane with their shoulders or using their body to hit the ball insteada the hands.

MJE, at www.oneplanegolfswing.com, Chuck Quinton will do lessons via the web (you tape your swing, email it to him, and he gives you things to work on).

Hi Has anyone heard or tried this guys teaching? Simple swing (looks like a one plane swing, that only comes up to sholder high on the take back)
I over heard people talking about it at the driving range but I can't find any actual comments or reviews (besides the one on the website) from other golfers who has tried it.
