hi all
can some one tell me if you play on a wet course do you have to move
the ball back a touch as it seems i start a divot before i hit the ball

A divot before the ball (wet course or not) is a sign that something has to change.

My only assumption is that on a dry course you get away with a bit of a hop before you contact the ball.
