I borrowed a putter from a friend recently with a view to buying it from him . I went out the day before yesterday for 18 holes to try it out . In the last 5 rounds I've played I've averaged 36 putts per round. On the first green I had a 25 Foot putt for Birdie and you've guessed it , dead centre all the way. My round consisted of another 4 one putts and 13 two putts for a total of 31 putts.
All my lag putts finished within 1-3 foot.I wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary in my routine but from the first putt going in I felt I could do no wrong with this new "saviour" in my hands. I usually score around the 80 mark I had scored a 74 my lowest round ever.I feel I can keep improving I just don't know if I have enough money for a new putter every week (because I know it won't last).
