Impatiently waiting for weather to improve, meanwhile browsing net and reading golf magazines for latest improvement aids. The following were of interest. Tees with bristles, could double up as rather chic shaving brush I suppose. Monstrous drivers with heads resembling mine detectors Rescue clubs capable of success from knee high rough, ankle deep water and pot bunkers.Putters that make the ball home in like a rat scuttling up a drain pipe.Wedges with sharpened grooves that generate more spin than the combined efforts of Blair and Bush.I reckon with all of promises Pretty soon my handicap would be around plus 10. Thinking about trying my luck on Champions tour or better yet the regular tour, think of all that lovely lolly to be won. Move over Tiger.

A new highlight: Golfing the home course on Christmas Day.
I say it too often: If it's golf club shaped, you can play with it.
For the record, I'm a club doctor, not a swing doctor.
Re: gadgets and gizmos.
That reminds me on one of Ian's phrases:
Each year, with every driver promising 10 more yards, I should be hitting it about 500 yards.
or something like that.

Best gizmo I heard of, is this thing called...aahh...what was it called....OH ya, practice. Good idea, worked great, just didn't catch on, company went out of business, no one was buying it, or if they did, they just didn't use it. I think it's free now days, if you have your own golf balls.
