wrist angle seems to be a very delacate thing. I believe the only way your wrists turn is up and down - same way as keeping your hands in front of you and lifting your club up and down with your wrists. Wrist do not move side ways. This would mean rotating your wrists like turning your club head back and forward. (This move will open or close your club head.)
One way of thinking of wrists at impact is just letting your club take care of it. If you have a good, soft grip, your club will hit the ball at a right angle, when your weight transfer and hip rotation is correct.
I like the idea of moving a ball backwards. I have started to check my divot on practise swing and adjust my stands to it. Some times it means I have to move towards the target - and it's the same as moving a ball backwards in my setup.
