  • Which car has the biggest boot for clubs/trolley?

I've got an Audi A3, and there's nothing more frustrating than having to take out your woods to place them in the back seat, and then carefully placing the bag and trolley in it's optimum position in the boot so the tailgate can be closed properly - even this is a task, often slamming it down a few times until it locks! If I can't shut the tailgate, I often give up and dump the trolley or bag in the back seat. Often my playing partners have already gone back to the clubhouse and ordered their lunch or already halfway down the M1 on the way home!

I'm ready for an estate car now, or some other car that has a massive boot - no longer do I mock and ridicule the estate owners! Which car, whether it be a saloon or estate, has a huge boot to take a full set with the woods still in the bag, and an electric trolley, and possible a pram?!

    hi koonl,
i am currently looking to upgrade my transport and boot size is high on my list of priorities in all likelihood ill be purchasing an audi A4 if the boot area is big enough.
i currently drive a turbo diesel peugeot 306 hatch and the boot is massive i just fold the trolley down and throw it in with the bag no problem with room to spare.

The A4 Avant was what was on my mind also! However, I've heard a lot of reviews about rear passenger room and luggage space not being as big as other competitors - I used to have a 306 XSI hatchback about 7 years ago - I vaguely remember the boot being big, but I wasn't playing golf then. so volume of the boot wasn't on my mind.

BMW's are supposed to be a little tight too, as it's rear-wheel drive, the transmission has to be running all the way to the rear, eating up more luggage space.

I like the new Passat estate, but it's too new and therefore expensive.

The Audi A6 saloon is HUGE! You can fit a few set of clubs side-by-side length ways, and lay the trolley on top of them! I don't like the look of A6's, so I'm looking at an alternative.

I have a 1997 Ford Crown Victoria and I can put two golf bags and two golfers in the boot with room to spare
