    On the scorecard..each hole has a handicap.If the handicap for a hole is 1..does this mean its the hardest hole on the course?And the 2 handicap is the second hardest and so on?Thanks

    hi spankit,
    i think you mean stroke index and yes you are correct stroke index 1 is the hardest hole on the course and 18 is the easiest.

      Yes, spankit, the hole index is hardest to easiest, 1 to 18.

      Slater, across the pond, you call it a stroke index. IIUC, you also have a standard scratch score (SSS), while we have a course slope and course rating.
