Can anyone recommend a "tips" book that one could carry in their back pocket while golfing. What I have in mind is something that has a page for each of the following: showing the key points for chipping, getting out of sand, hitting with a sidehill lie, etc, etc. I haven't played a lot and I still get confused about the proper stance in a sandtrap, chipping stance, etc. I envison something in the 3 x 5 size with maybe 20 pages or so. Laminated pages would be nice. It would also be nice if the book had a spot to enter the distance that I expect to hit each club.

Re: Pocket Size Golf Tips
Just about any full service golf shop will have what you are looking for in their book/training section. Not sure about the distance page you are asking about, but if the training/shot book does not have a page, perhaps a simple 3X5 index card might suit your needs. I have seen a set of golf "flash" cards, which give you specific shots, and how to set up for them, but his information is not in a book form, but on 3X5 index cards. The set I saw had some blank cards included for notes which I am sure could be used for club distances. The cards were also color coded for different types of shots. My suggestion would be to make your own set of these cards up for yourself. You yourself would best know the little adjustments needed in your various set ups that work best for you, which the little training books would not take into account. GJS
