    Re: Wie twists my screws

I think it's unfair to compair Wie's path and Tiger's path to success. When Wie is the same age as Tiger was when he turned pro, then you can debate which path was better. I'm guessing both paths will be pretty equal.

I also don't have a problem with PGA tournament giving Wie an exemption. Sure it may not allow another golfer in the tournament, but there is a lot more benefits to having her there.
    1. Brings in more fans.
    2. Brings in more revenue for the tournament.
    3. By means of 2 will allow higher payouts.

If your struggling to get the last exemption in a tournament like the John Deere you should probably re-evaluate choices and work harder or find another line of work.

As far as I know and im pretty sure im correct, Tiger didnt turn pro a week before his 16th birthday.

Wie has joined the ever growing Nike *spits* roadshow which guarantees her lots of exposure which just happens to involve sponsor invites, she is sponsored by some of the biggest names involved with the PGA tour who get lots of exemption slots it makes good marketing sense for them to pitch her in when they can, thats all.

She isnt taking spots off the ordinary Joe Pro cos he wouldnt be getting the sponsors invite either.

Hopefully she will implode over the next two seasons and win sod all. Then the marketing hype will shift onto the next big thing. Which we will then moan about......a lot.......
