One of the hardest shots I find in golf is 'The follow thru'. for years and numerous lessons i,m still concerned that I will 'hook the ball'.
I,m nolonger a young man but still manage a handicap of 17 but no for definite that i could reduce my h/cap if only I could solve that problem.
All advice would be greatly appreciated

how far do you hit it? you could be releasing too early it you hook a lot. need more info to help. i would guess to maybe weaken your grip a bit and follow through down your target line and let your body swing the club around. try you swing your club down the targer line and not around it, your body will turn it around for you.

if you are releasing too early, then your distance probly isn't too good eaither so i reccomend you visit this site to help with a later release.

I hit my drives around the 200 mark.
What EXACTLY is meant by RELEASING.
Many thanks for your prompt assistance

that website should help you out. if your problem was flipping through impact and if the RHD is done properly should give you an extra 20-60 yds.

releasing should be something that your hands and arms do naturally if your arms are relaxed enough and you shouldn't have to worry about it too much. if you try to release then it is a timing thing and few have good enough hand-eye-cordination to get perfect timing of release of club to have square contact so try to let it happen natually.
