Whether you like Wie or not, you have to wonder why the LPGA hasn't made an exemption to the age limit for Michelle Wie. They've made exceptions before to allow full status.

Wie is one of the top 2 draws in golf. This would mean a lot more money for the LPGA and would drive them into the spotlight a lot more quickley then them waiting 2 more years.

With that being said I can see why a lot of the LPGA players wish she would not play against the men. Wie will bring a lot more money to all the LPGA players that are consistently in the money.

I believe when Wie finally becomes fully exempt on the LPGA tour, the Seniors tour is doomed.

Maybe they just don't want kids on their tour - regardless of how good they play. I guess the other argument is simply the precedent it sets by allowing the 16 year olds to play - just like when you were a kid with potato chips: If you give to one, you have to give to all.
