    Is this illegal ?

    This might sound strange but is it illegal to play in sunglasses that have one lense taped over ?

    So in theory your looking just thru one eye. I've been doing this because I have one good eye and one dodgy one. With the sunglasses on I have noticed I take the putter back square and my stroke is better.

    I cannot imagine it would be illegal. If so, then we all have to start to remove our hats due to the sun getting into our eyes.

      Thanks for your answer. I know it's a strange question. I have one dominant eye (the left one) and the right one which is weak and out of focus slightly. I noticed when I blocked out the right eye of these sunglasses, the putter head was always square throughout the stroke. When I don't use the sunglasses I open the club on the backswing and close it after the stroke. The result is inconsistant putting which has always plagued me.

      I've played 3 rounds now and my putting is definately better. I didn't want to be break the rules though !

        It is perfectly legal, particularly as a medical condition is involved
