yesterday i went up to the course by myself as my usual golfing partner was away and i shot the best score of my life a 1 over par 71! now my handicap is 11 so id say thats pretty good. i was just on form my drives were going 300 yards ish and straight aswell. on one hole a par 4 288yrd i decided to take a 3 wood rather than have a go at the green with the driver and thank god i didnt hit the driver coz i absolutely leathered the ball 10 yards off the back of the green i couldnt believe it a 3 wood almost 300 yrds!!! during this round i made 3 birdies and 4 bogeys and almost everytime i missed GIR io got up and down for par thourghly chuffed no 3 putts.
