  • fantastic bunker shot

Yesterday , playing my local course I ended in a bunker with my second shot at a par four hole about 25 - 30 ft from the flag. Played the shot and the ball popped up landed on the green and rolled all the way to the hole but stopped about half inch short. I was over the moon as I had recently been struggling with sand shots. Later on I ended up in a greenside bunker on a short par three and knocked it out to within three feet to save par. Oh joy is me.

    Hello Jocky.
isn't it a great feeling when something you have been working on for a while begins to show signs of improvement.
There must have been times , as there always is when working on a change, that you thought that you would never get it right.
It just goes to show what perseverance and practice can achieve.

    Silas.

Thanks Silas, Just to let everyone know I broke 90 today on a local course. The weather was really hot and we played a course that is up hill and down dale, seriously hilly. By the end of the round I was cream crackered but very happy to have finally got under ninety. Just chilling now with a cold drink. Cheeers
