Here's a dumb question--where do women professional golfers tee off from in their tournaments? Blue tees? Red tees? A special women's tournament designated tee? It just occurred to me I have no idea.....

Re: Women's Tournament Tee Box
Well on the lpga tour they usually play courses around 6600-6800 yards long i think. So they tee off probably the tees us lads tee off when we are just having a social tees which in britain would be the yellow tees. white tees being competition and red tees being woman.

Re: Women's Tournament Tee Box
In many courses in the US, women's tees are designated red, men's medium to high handicappers white, and blue for low handicappers. Some course have senior tees as well, and in one golf course around here, they are designated yellow.
Men's championship tournament tees can be even farther back, and can be designated black, although it probably doesn't matter what the color is since I would guess all other tee markers are removed from the course during tournament play.
