  • callaway x tour irons

These irons are great. I get a higher more penetrating ball flight with more distance.

The only downside is the roll. I get a lot of it. It doesent make sense. I hit the ball with a good high trajectory and the damn things still roll 10 yards.
I usually hit a 5 iron 185. I hit these 190-195.....I the ball hits at 185 and rolls another 10 yards which has not been typical.
    Otherwise they are great clubs

Those Callaway tour irons really look the part. I have been dying to play them. Right now I have been playing Macgregor 1025 muscle backs. I am hooked on these blades, however I probably could use the forgivness that Callaway offers. Do these clubs of yours really play like Forged Blades? If so,.......Well I might have to make a change.

i had titleist 804's prior to this iron and the difference is amazing. The biggest help for me is the perimeter weighting on the callaways. It helps me get the ball in the air for a higher, longer ball flight. It took me a few rounds to get used to the weight. By the end of the round i was more tired than usual. But now I find i swiing so much easier. It does feel like a forged iron. I unfortunately am only a 15 handicap and cant comment on the workability of the iron. But for my money it was a step in the right direction.
