    hi s4p
ive just started using a forward press as you described and i now feel as though i have a real fluid swing with good tempo.
before this the takeaway was too rigid and i had a tendecy to freeze a little over the ball now its set up,press and swing

        Hi Shootin,
I would think that you are using the simplest and safest method of forward press. I personally think it is a great way of activating a close to perfect timing and tempo and can improve a good routine and set up. If it helps, why not??

Yes, that sounds a good way to trigger the swing. As I said earlier, I use a tip from Leadbetter: I push my right knee towards my left then as I return it this triggers my backswing.
