  • Par/Birdie slam

Here is a way to have fun and keep your focus while playing a round. I have been trying to have a birdie slam for my local course. If I birdie a hole in a particular round I scratch it off my birdie card. I keep that card separate from my other cards so I can keep track. Right now I only need the 8th hole to complete the slam. If your a higher handicap or just want to start slowly you can complete the par slam. I think it would be fun to see if people on the site would post their slam, what course, and how long it took them. I am going to restart my slam tomorrow and see how long it takes me to complete my new slam.

Keep a separate mark on the same card for your bogie bash. Don't fill that one in first!

A while ago someone posted something similar - something to the effect of your best score on a given course, by taking your low hole score for each hole. I'm STILL missing #3 for my birdie bash. It's the only one.

Yeah that sounds fun, though my guess is the Boogie one will win....

              Re: Par/Birdie slam

I finally finished, 10 days to par each hole and 22 days to birdie. With number 8 done I have finally birdied every hole on the course. I think its helped my game as well as I have had multiple birdie rounds including two rounds with three birdies and three days in a row with a bird on 17 and 18.
