Captain woosie has made his picks for this years ryder cup.. Darren Clarke and Lee westwood. I think this is a great pairing. And i also think it's what Heather would have wanted..

Darren clarke hasent played golf for weeks so why did he pick him? Ok, he is a great player but poulter and carl petterson must be on better form than he is! -

intresting to see who has won the most points
faldo 25 points out of 46 games.
langer 24 points out of 42 games.
ballesteros 22.5 points out of 37 games
monty 21.5 points out of 32 games.
i had forgot how good langer had been in the ryder cup.

Sergio Garcia has one of the best records in the Ryder Cup if not the best for Europe. He has got 11 points out of a possible 15 in his career and has won 10 of those 15 matches.Comment

i dont think clark is a bad pick, remember he and westwood beat phil and tiger and thats maybe what woosie has in mind again, both them to play together again, i think if he had picked bjorn and left lee or darren out we still would off had a real strong side. i think clark must of had a long talk to woosie before he picked him, woosie is no mug and he has helped sam last time and he knows how it works and how will fit in best on the day to his plans. darren at the k-club with all that home support and some scots and welsh and a few english too, i think he he cant help but rise to that.
