I watched every swing, and every minute of tv coverage at the w/end. But the moment that made it for me was the arrival of Darren Clarke on the first tee box to a welcome that I am sure he will never forget. How he held up and was able to start his match amazes me. What courage. He was the epitomy of team unity and so deserving of all the kindness shown to him. I hope the experience of the weekend will drive him on to win a few majors. He deserves it.

Re: Ryder Cup Magic moment
the thought of losing my wife now or 50 years from now takes me to a place where I'm certain nervous breakdown takes residence. DC's loss will forever reshape and redefine my perspective on "living/loving in the moment" One day i hope to tell him that in person.

a very poignant point you make.
my dad and uncle passed away this christmas past and that was devastating so i cant imagine what darren clarke is going through.
he has shown to be an amazing human being as well as a talented golfer.

Re: Ryder Cup Magic moment
If I knew it was my "last" day...I'd be selling all my stocks, 401Ks, kids 529's and spending every dollar I had...Probably not the best advice for me...but I think I know what you mean
