  • club face position

Can someone explain what i need to do to make sure the anlge of the club face is right for both irons and woods?

Is ther only one proper angle or does it change depending on what you are trying to do with the shot?

I'm not sure what you mean by the angle of the club face. Do you mean leaning the shaft of the club forward which steepens the face or open or closed to the target?

      angle of club face

Sorry, I am just starting and may not be using the right terms. Please bear with me.

I mean the angle of the face in relation to the ball.

I have figured out the grip but it seems to me there is 180 degrees to play with in the rotation of the shaft.

Is there a reference point on the club head that i need in a certain position for the face of the club is at the right angle?

Aim the leading edge for irons (the bottom of edge) and the topline for woods.
