  • Swing Plane

I was just wondering how much emphasis is on swing plane, in terms of a powerfull swing. As all my golfing life all 20yrs now, I have always been in search of techniques for producing more distance.
Iam struggling at the moment, well I have always struggled with my divots pointing left of my target line, although the ball goes straight and in the direction iam aiming at, is this a major power loss.

How can i prevent this from occurring.

    regards

      Re: Swing Plane

      hi
i think the harder you try to hit the ball longer the more erratic your swing becomes, i think its more about hitting the ball in the middle of the club face and getting that wonderful effortless sweet spot hit.
when you can hit the ball in the middle time after time you will get more distance than breaking your shoe laces in trying to power the ball.
get a good rhythm and then work on sweet spot hitting.cheers
