    hey everyone
    I posted many threads regarding my tendency to pull my irons. Now, i am doing just the opposite. I usually get a little too much divot and slice at the same time. I am a lefty and the divots, if you can picture this, are going from the outside in. any suggestions?

    Dave,

    You are not shifting your weight to the right leg from the top of the backswing. The left knee should be almost under your hands at impact. Look on the left sidebar of this website and find the lesson under The Golf Swing called The Thoughswing. Look at the second picture down on the left side. See how the back leg (knee) is kicked in toward the ball. This is the problem in your swing. If you check it in a mirror, you will see you are on your right side.

    The motion through the ball is probably right but you forget to activate your lower body before coming through the ball. Think
    1 - Lower Body
    2- Upper Body
    3 - Release

    Your doing 2-1-3. Change your dance step and I think your problem will go away.
