    Air Travel with Clubs

    Hi All,

    A question for you seasoned golf travelers. I am planning a vacation in January to Mazatlan and was thinking about taking my sticks down.

    What advice would you offer for traveling with clubs? And any specific experience on traveling with clubs to Mexico would be appreciated.

    Put them in a hard case that has wheels. Baggage handlers are not known for their delicate handling of golf clubs, or anything else, for that matter.

      I use a soft travel bag. However, I've got a hockey stick that I've cut to 4 feet that I jam inside the travel bag - it takes the stress of the baggage handlers. And so far, it hasn't broken (this is a good thing).
