Looking to Buy 3 or 4 Wood
I'm in the market for a 3 or 4 wood. Most of the 3 woods I saw at the store looked like mini-drivers. And I'd expect that they'd be hard to hit off the fairway. I'm looking for a club that would first be easy to hit off the fairway, then be able to use it off the tee as well.

I've been hitting my driver in the 270 range. Then my next longest club is my 3 Hybrid that I hit about 200. Would I be better off getting a 3 or 4? And what Brands and Models would you suggest?

Any suggestions or advice out there would be appreciated!

    Thanks

    Hi,

I use a Titliest 13* 3 wood. I find it easy to use from both the tee and off the deck. It's also handy for punch shots from the rough.

I like my Taylormade V Steel 3 wood, it's good quality, easy to use, forgiveable and makes a great "Dink" when you strike the ball well.

Hi I had the same trouble, until I bought a king cobra 4+ wood I find it great off the fairway and off a low tee

I've got a 3 and 5 wood Taylormade V Steel and love them. They certainly don't look like mini drivers. A good shape to hit off the fairway and I use both off the tee quite a bit. I got mine from EBay.
