  • New Training aids

I ran across some new training aids while reading the new Golf Digest. I am a sucker for these things and wondering if anybody has used any of them.

    Check out their website:

Comments or reviews would be great.

    Re: New Training aids

I worked the pga show for him in 06 and studied many hours under Mr. Weaver, what do you want to know? The pure swing is pretty cool and I have aids of his that never hit the market such as the plane stick and the transition magician. He also has some more in the works, the man has made at least 40 or more aides. Call him up and ask for a plane stick and tell him neil sent ya. The plane stick is pretty cool. A lot of people really like the power angle pro too, looks kind of funny though. from my knowledge Mickelson used this when he shortened his backswing two years ago, but dont hold me to that 100% Mr. weaver worked with counless instructiors such as Mike austin, rick smith, ballard I believe, and more. The swing setter had to get clearance by john before it went to market, cause it was influenced by his power release, John got a sweet motercycle out of the deal. Nice guy give him a call and he will answer your questions. ask him what he has in the works. and btw, that is not new, just new to golf digest. those three have been used for years
but my favorite aid of all,

    a golf club

        you welcome my friend
        btw,
the plane stick is somewhere in the $40+ range, so not quite as much as the other aides

          Re: New Training aids

I did it, I bought all three of his training aids. I have just started working with them and I think they will be a big help. The first thing I noticed when using the Power Angle Pro, was that I was greatly lacking in width in my backswing.

It's only been two days since I got them, so a bit too early to tell.

I will update if anyone is interested..
