I am curious has anyone tried this? I just got one off ebay and it really seems to have a nice teaching technique. Everytime I swing it feels that I get a better release and drop into the slot. It seems also to rotate the hands perfectly during the impact.. I havent hit balls yet,. just have praticed with it. But it seems interesting.. Any other stories people have had with this??

Re: Kallassy's Swing Magic
Im a chronic slicer and when I swung it I noticed a really different feeling. I have a habit of leaving the face open during impact and when I swung this it was the first time I felt my wrists actually turning over to square it. For someone with a hook this might not be the best training aid because it encourages a inside out path..Ive been using it around 5-10 minutes each day And im going to the range tommorow to see how the results are..ill let you guys know

Re: Kallassy's Swing Magic
yea, a weaker grip helps..
So anyway I went to the range today. Since I hadnt played for a while I shanked alot of balls. But when I got to my second bucket I was hittin them pretty good, many with a nice little draw.. Looks like its helping..

Re: Kallassy's Swing Magic
Yes - this is an old thread but here's my $0.02 anyway --
I use the Swing Magic and the Momentus and have seen positive results from each. I have the Whippy driver and don't really get much from it.
Quick story - I was playing a golf course while visiting Michigan in the early 2000's. Got paired with a very high handicapper. This guy was slicing the ball with everything from driver to wedge. He noticed me swinging my Kallassay Swing Magic between shots and asked me about it. I explained what it is and how it was used. I offered it to him and he swung it 10-15 times before his next shot. On his next shot (5 iron, if I remember correctly) he lined up as usual (aiming left of the fairway/green) and swung as usual. Or as he though it would go as usual anyway. The ball went dead straight - clipping tree limbs along the left side. I told him to drop another but aim less left. He swung the SM 5 or so times then took dead aim. Straight and long. It was actually very funny to observe it happening. I liked to have never gotten my SM back from him after that. Made a convert out of him and reinforced my belief in the SM.
I'm not a scratch golfer - best has been a 7.2. So the SM won't make you tour ready as it doesn't help with chipping and putting but for the woods and irons - I am a strong believer in it.
One word of caution - watch to ensure that the backswing isn't too far inside as that will promote a hook. So, if you remember to go reasonable straight back with the backswing - you should be ok.Last edited by HowISeeIt; 01-21-2012, 06:15 PM.
