    Re: Question for shorter hitters

Chris, to answer in lieu of Martin, I've played the last 3 holes at my course (a 480 yard par 5, a 340 yard par 4 and a 150 yard par 3) at even par using nothing longer than a 6 iron (6, 8, PW in fact). It's interesting to play that way - and to see that I can make par without a driver or putter.

Move back to the next tees when you've got the length.

      Re: Question for shorter hitters

      Dont worry be happy,
golf is to be enjoyed, I play of seven these days, took a old friend of mine who I used to play with regularly in a four ball each week out on friday, I shot 75 he shot 85 and hes off 5, when I used to play in his four ball I used to be a little intimidated by how far he could hit a ball, I mean he could carry a drive in the winter months Three hundred yards with ease.
I always found myself trying to play his game a Big Big mistake in golf, incidently I was off 14 back then so in order for me to beat him I had to find an edge, and I did and its all from 100yards in if I dont reach the green Iam not that bothered as Iam confident of getting up down 8/10 times and that then puts pressure on the big hitters cause if they are 300yds away in the trees they know ill more than likely beat them on the hole.
Ironically I have my Friend the Big Hitter to thank for me getting into single figures and staying there as I have for the last four years, and thats about the last time he beat me. Funny old game Golf, see theres always more than one way to skin a cat as they say
