hey all, just thought I would introduce myself. Not only am I new here but also new to the game. I have been to a couple of par 3s, and to the range a couple of times now, and am working on correcting my swing, and hitting straight as well. Any beginning tips would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Welcome to the site, feel free to join in with any of the conversations. The best piece of advice I can offer any beginner is to take a couple of lessons from your local PGA pro on the basics of the game, so that you get started off on the right foot. Go through the lessons we have posted on the site, by practicing them on the range then when you are comfortable go onto the course.
