  • Stack and Tilt Advise

After taking a lesson with a golf pro, who started changing my swing I went from an 8 handicap to a 15 Handicap. Under sheer frustration, I changed my swing to the Stack and Tilt. It has been working great for me. The only small problem I have had is the pulling with my longer irons 5 and up. The driver works well, and I even hit it further than my other swing (Shift Weight). Now I need some advise, how do you hit uphill and downhill lies with the stack and tilt. Seems that I have been having problems with this. The ball comes off the club face as a line drive. Even if it rolls a ton, still want to get it up in the air. Any advise?

Thank you for the advise. So, no changes to the normal type swing other than keeping the lower body quiet. Is this correct? Heading to NC Pinheurst area in July, where there's plenty of all types of lies. Living in South Florida, it's mostly flat, so do not get practice these very much.

I can give you a little suggestion that might help.....Don't carry any irons longer than a 5! When I bought my new Mizuno MX-900's I specifically bought the 5 - P.W. only. I added a titleist hybrid that goes 210-220 and I loved it. I immediately bought another one in 17 degree loft that I hated. I ended up replacing it with a 5 wood that covers the distance lapse between my Hybrid and 3 wood. I find all of these woods/metals a whole lot easier to hit than 3 and 4 irons.

Thanks, I learned this a long time ago. I replaced my 3i-4i for a perfect club which has been great for me and I canhit it easy. I just picked up a couple Tour Edge Bazooka 3-4 Iron Wood, which I used to hit very well with my old swing. With the new S&T Swing, I have a little problems hitting them. But I think is mostly ball position. But, I still keeping my Perfect Club in the bag, it has never failed me.
