    I have no issues with your posts. No ego here. In fact I like the ideal of a ten club maximum, or same ball rule. But since money dose, or will ultimately govern golf,(sponsors, and manufacturers) the rules of tournament golf will become easier as the years pass with regard to equipment. Another one of my personal opinions.

    I play with only 9 clubs most of the time when I walk a course. In my situation, I'd like to have more clubs to choose from, but weight is an issue for me. GJS

      I think the Nike/Woods situation came about because Tiger found out he didn't like Nike's production balls. He had always been a Titleist player until he signed with Nike. The ball that Nike makes special for him is probably a Pro V1 clone.

      As the article states, this "special for pro only ball" is certainly an exception and is not part of the norm in relationship to the pros and the general public having access to the same golf balls.
