I am thinking of signing up to an indoor winter golf school this year, we'll see how much time I will have.

I try and play the par+1 approach on all rounds. It is a powerful tool for playing to your level (it is actually a shot or 2 above my handicap, but nonetheless).

My main problem is discipline during a round. My mind will wander and I'll loose sight of the plan and make a bonehead play (case in point shot #2 on Sunday, I should have been thinking 300 yards to go with 3 shots in hand, not 2).

I am going to work really hard on the mental approach to the game. I have read "how to break 90" by Tomasi et al. and it really helped me with my strategic game. I started scoring in the low 90s, and was kept from breaking 90 by bad putting, so I read the Rotella book on putting and now my putting is much better, but my long game is bad now.....so frustrating. Maybe I'll reread both books.

Thank you to everyone for their help and support. Much appreciated.

I know you are on the Quebec side ... where were you thinking of going?

I have been contemplating Kevin Haime at the Sensplex.

Not sure, maybe the OAC. Maybe I'll do a search on ottawagolf to see what people think of each of the indoor schools.
