The Belfry have an offer called the sunday driver. Basically it allows you to play the Brabazon and either the Derby or PGA National course. From what I gather you play one of the courses on a sunday afternoon then you have Dinner, bed and breakfast then play the other monday morning. I think at the minute it costs £149 but I think the prices vary from month to month. Has anyone played either the Derby or PGA? Going to plan a trip for early next year as I think its a great offer.

Re: The Belfry. Comments please.
The Brabazon is a good course considering that not long ago it was a collection of farmers' fields. It's great to play the same course you've seen so many times on tv.
I've never played the Derby but it looks like a subsidiary course.
The hotel is ok. (I last stayed there about 5 years ago or more)
£149 is very good value for 2 rounds and B & B.

Amazing, best money you will ever spend!!!!
I did this 2 years ago with some friends, 2 of us went the whole hog and spent £530 on a round on each course, 2 nights in the hotel and a room upgrade.
The Brabazon is a nice course, very well laid out and worth it just for 10 and 18.
PGA National is actually a nicer course and I thought a tougher test.
The Derby is a bit of a field though, will be nice in 10 years time but a bit featureless just now, it needs to grow into its surroundings.
You can actually pay to upgrade from the Derby to PGA National and I heartily recommend it.
Enjoy!!!

Honestly, you wont be disappointed, enjoy the Brabazon for the occasion, but enjoy the PGA or the challenge, the 2nd and 12th holes alone on the PGA are worth it!!!
ps, have the Parma Ham, Marscapone and Chutney starter in the restaurant as well, its well tasty........
