Appreciation
OK, time to chime in.
I'm very appreciative whenever somebody volunteers their time to help another. So, it's time to publicly thank our volunteers who contribute their time and knowledge to help some of us improve. Kooter, anytime there are large groups a small percentage will make far too much noise than they should.
Please remember that most of the people who take advantage of this site are very appreciative of your contributions. It would be a shame if we lost your knowledge and expertise.
So thanks again to Kooter, Golfbald and all the other very informed contributors who are helping us to gain greater enjoyment from this wonderful and challenging game.
Happy Holidays!

Kooter,I for one am glad you are on the site. The elegant writing style and easy reading make it a pleasure to read your posts. Your posts are very informative and well thought out. It is very reminicent of Cliff who I miss and haven't heard from in a while. I have thought about leaving several times but I know from chatting with some folks and meeting some folks, hi Ace, that this site is probably the most civil I've seen and the work of research and posting is well appreciated.
There are quite a few members and most read. There is nothing wrong with that. I was a little hesitant to post in the begining. This last 8 weeks I have been taking Engish Comp in college and have had a great deal of writing to do as you can imagine. I will be contributing more in the near future.
This is one of the few worldwide forums for golf on the web. Most boards I've seen are almost exclusively from the US. I would contribute the slowness due to the time of year more than anything. It's difficult to ask questions about your swing when you are not working on it.
Please everyone let's kick it up and help make this a forum we can all be proud of!

I would also like to pass on my thanks to the pros / low handicappers who devote a lot of time to passing on advice to the beginners, high handicappers (and the downright bad players like me!). I agree that perhaps I don't post as much as I should, but at the moment I am digesting and practicing all the useful info I have picked up so far, and what advice could I give to a high handicapper!?! Buy cheap balls, that way it doesn't hurt as much when you put three into the same d*mn ditch?!? It's a fantastic resource, and maybe a dip in questions should be expected since most aspects of the game are thoroughly covered already. Maybe a lot of us aren't as vocal as we could be, but I'm sure we all appreciate the help we're being given.
