  • one eye putting tips?

I recently lost sight in my dominant eye. It is difficult to line up a putt and know where to look when putting. Tips? Thanks.

    Re: one eye putting tips?

Thank you! I have light coming in my right eye but it all blurred, dead optic nerves in the center of vision. Right eye used to be dominant, now left. so, I close my rt. eye to plumb bob (standing how far behind the ball?). Pick the spot 10 inches ahead, (then look at spot, not the ball?) (close rt. eye). Thanks again.

Dave Pelz thinks plum lobbing is a waste of time and I tend to agree with him.

To gauge the borrow, stand behind the hole, then take a look from the low side from the ball to the hole, finally look from behind the ball. Think of spilling some water on the line and which way it would run. You can do this with one eye.

The original inventor of the Seemore putters had lost vision in one eye. He created the Seemore putting system to eompensate. Give them a try, it might help.
