  • The F2 wedge system.

The dreaded shanks raised their ugly head and hours of work on the practice range failed to completely remove them. Three rounds in a row I had no doubt whatsoever when I was faced with a shot of eighty yards and in that I would shank the ball. It completely destroys your round regardless of how well you may be hitting other shots and any gained confidence is quickly eroded.
At last resort I purchased a 52 degree F2 wedge, took a large bucket of range balls to a quiet corner of our practice facility and hit quarter shots, half shots, three quarter shots and full shots. Goodbye shanks, this club certainly has it's merits but an uglier wedge you wont find anywhere. It takes a great deal of fiddling and adjustment to get used to the face forward design.
I would certainly recommend this club for those of you who are having problems with short wedge shots ( re. shanking ) that really is the only usefull purpose this club has. On a scale of 1-10 I would definately give it a full 10 in the ugly club category but it will restore confidence which can create a ripple effect through your game.
