Just wondeiring if anyone could recommend a ball that promotes a lower, more penetrating ball flight. I hit my irons and driver very high with my bread and butter fade and think I would benefit from this. Thanks.

Re: Recommendations for Ball with Lower Ball Flight
Hi JaySpin,
Bridgestone B330. It's also reasonably priced.

There are other Bridgestone B330's with suffixes, so check out characteristics of those carefully, as some have high spin etc.

Re: Recommendations for Ball with Lower Ball Flight
Brian/Ted, thanks for your responses. I picked up a box of Bridgestone e7+ as a matter of fact which advertise a lower trajectory. I find ProVI's fly way too high and overemphasize my fade for the windy afternoons at my home course, I have resorted to harder 2 piece balls like Pinnacle Golds to bring down the ball flight but give up control and feel around the green. Ever since I changed my swing to the Joe Dante/early wrist break technique my irons, while quite consistent and much longer than before go a mile high unless I make adjustments which affect the repeatability of the swing. I'm hoping a simple ball change will do the trick before experimenting with new shafts or irons.Originally posted by BrianW View PostLower ball flight is only really penetrating in high wind. A higher ball flight with lower spin will give you more distance.Last edited by JaySpin; 02-16-2009, 09:37 PM.
