I think golf is 90% mental. Enjoy your Scotty.

I think putting is 110% mental

There must be almost as many putting styles as there are golfers but I'd suggest that the one thing that all great putters have in common is that they believe that they are going to hole every putt they line up.

One part of that is belief in the flat stick in your hand - if you love your Scotty then no-one elses opinion is needed.

it was $119.00, a very good price in my eyes, especially after the steep price tag on the black series putter i previously used.

That is a great price for a quality putter, considering the new cost of many of the Scotties are C$300 and up.

As the others have said, putters are individual to people, 90% mental and the rest in your head. There was a pro who putted for years with one of those cheap putters that come with 5 club beginner sets and it was 16 inches long. I think Corey Pavin still uses the Original Bullseye model putter.

I saw Scottie Cameron take one of his putters and put it in a loft/lie bending machine and bend it in extreme positions and then bend it back to traditional. That speaks for the high carbon content which gives unparalleled feel, which good players seem to appreciate and can feel (like a forged club), even though they also have soft inserts. The pros are fitted with their putters.
