Wanting to upgrade from my taylormade 360's to a good forged iron. Any older or cheaper priced irons out there that are worth more than they cost. I may be looking for atlantis here but just wondering. Just want to try something thats not to expensive in case I want to keep my 360's.

And you're looking for the least forgiving iron design on the planet?

I'm not really worried about how forgiving they are.

In that case, I'm sure you could find what you're looking for on eBay or craigslist.

Used forged irons are a real **** shoot, usually they are pretty beat up, as the softer club really ding easy. If you have a Golf Galaxy or Golfsmith close by you might go check their used section and try to haggle a bit with them.

Easy for me. Ben Hogan Apex 50's. Gorgeous and feel great. Not too unforgiving for a blade. I got my set brand new for £200. Sweet!

You might want to look at some Hogan Radials.

I recently bought a set on Ebay, where there was a surprising amount of choice. They are pretty darn good. I've used them now for 72 holes. I've only had one truly bad shot, a toe shot. The heel to toe measurement is 3" compared to 3 1/4" on the Wilson DR Distance II's that I have been using for the past year. The Radials seem to be something of a precursor to Ralph Maltby's Gliders which are longer heel to toe and even more a low center of gravity design. They have a beautiful feel to them as compared to the perimeter weighted clubs that I have been using. However, I must say that a toe shot off a perimeter weighted club travels further.
