Too good to be true is a great motto to live by. However one of the best drivers I ever had as far accuracy, and distance (rare combo) was a cheap component of some kind on a Harrison shaft. That club was a dream to play with, and I think I only paid $29 (new) for it. Problems were it only lasted a year or so before I caved in the face, and even worse, I was never able to find (build) a replacement. I even tried a few similar heads on the same shaft that did not work out.
Now, some 15-20 years later I found a 3W that is keeping me quite happy which I found in a bargain barrel for $30. I needed a 3W to fill out a short bag, while waiting for my regular playing set to catch up with me. It's now a part of my every day arsenal. It's a Cobra F Speed head on a Fujikura 26.3 shaft. Unfortunately that shaft is no longer available. GJS
I had a look at the site and while it looks legitimate it has to be "too good to be true". The manufacturers all have guidelines as to what retailers can
charge. Unless the clubs are preowned these prices are simply too low.
I wonder if there's a way to check on this company. I googled "bogus golf web sites" but didn't get anything useful. Maybe you could pick out a product (say a Taylormade driver) and then go to Taylormade's customer service site for validation.
