Re: suunto golf watch
Hi Samwear,
Welcome to the site, firstly I have watched your video and only made one observation:
You spend far to much time worrying about your swing and if it looks ok, try and focus a little more on making a good contact and visualising the club face making contact, certainly not where your arms are going behind you.
Also your rythmn is yours alone there is no watch in the world that has a better rythmn than your own body, that is the best clock for tempo.
Only a guess, but watching you at the range there I would suggest you have a quick tempo, I bet you talk fast, walk fast, and also you defo practice fast.
Hope this help
Ian.

Re: suunto golf watch
Hello Ian,
over the weekend I have been thinking about your reply,
1.do I really look so worrying?never occured to me!
as a natural optimist, I strongly believe that after a bad shot the chance of hitting next a solid banger has come even closer.
so that frown and pre-shot swinging, is just concentration
2.with my other sportswatch (garmin forerunner 305), I am having a lot of fun, tracking, following and discussing, my running and windsurfing, comparing and analyzing gps-speeds, heartrates etc. with like minded all over the globe.
sadly though on the suuntosports forum there are very little recent posts!
so either the watch hasnot been sold in great numbers (for what ever reason) or their owners don't care to much about sharing their data.
3.ok, I admit, I walk, run and cycle fast, though talking and eating I do on a more considerate pace.
concerning my swing speed, this was just my pitching wedge !
when I get the rest of my clubs back from holland I'll show you my Big Bertha driver speed, which will be at least double that fast(but the percentage of hitting it solid is probably somewhere in the low 2
's)
so the club of choice for teeing off is normally my 1iron (a nice cavity back)
bye steven
