I had a 7 wood club made from wood and brass sole with 4 screws in the face,it also had a steel shaft.It was made by an Australian company Carnegie Clark, most outside OZ wouldn't have heard of them, though they are over 100yrs old. These clubs were generally known as a brassy. It was a fantastic club particularly out of the rough, rivalling any hybrid. Alas I got too cocky and tried to change the corroded shaft and ruined it. I would like to by another though the chances are low getting the same brand, so if anyone has a good brassy 7wood and wants to sell it, I would be interested
