  • Internet shop concerns

Hi all, not much action here for a while. A friend of mine needs to know whether the USA based company called "Golfclubs.com" is legitimate. He is concerned about their low prices. Any help would be appreciated

    Re: Internet shop concerns

    Two rules:

If it looks too good to be true, it is. You're likley buying counterfeits.

If there's bad grammar on the site, you're definitely buying counterfeits.

Tell your friend to contact the OEM that he's considering buying (ie Ping or Callaway) and ask THEM if this site is legit.

Hi LP,I'll pass it on. It is starting to become a very grey field with at least 1 OEM having bought a foundry in china and selling some clones on top of their well known brand.

LP great advice for shopping online sites. However, in regards to GolfClubs.com I do know for a fact that they are a legitimate site. I happen to live in Portland where they are based out of and I have been to their retail store they have here. Great shop and those prices you see online aren't too good to be true they adhere to all MAP prices. You can tell your friend that they are a great site to buy from. I have personally bought quiet a few clubs and accessories from them.
