My golf shoes bit the dust and am looking to get some new ones. Any suggestions? Probably be spending in the range of $40-$60.

My last ones were footjoys but I'm not tied to any brand, they were on the cheaper side and lasted me quite a while. But the soles started coming unglued and they began giving me blisters.

I think I'd prefer one of the slip on/moc styles.

    Thanks in advance for suggestions.

Footjoy X-Dimension are superb. As are the new Adidas range.

Try Ecco shoes as well they look really well designed.

If you are looking for something on the less expensive side, try Etonic or Bite.

I ended up spending a lot more than I wanted to. Well I talked my wife into it being my birthday present and any money I get from my birthday I'll put towards the shoes.

Ended up getting some Eccos that were on clearance. Saved $60 on them. Still cost $99 though. I watched a special on Ecco on the Golf Channel and I they look like they are of the highest quality.

The brown truck should be dropping them of Thursday or Friday of this week.

Well I got my Eccos today and I'm not impressed. I'll be sending them back. There was so little padding on the inside that they feel like they are at least a size and a half larger than what they are labelled.

Anybody use Oakley shoes? I found a pair that I'm thinking about ordering. I think they are last years neck-ties.

Here's the shoes I'm looking at right now.

              I'm a Nike man, myself.

And as far as I'm concerned, you don't really want budget shoes. Remember - this is a 6000+ yard journey you'll be walking. Golf is no fun when your feet hurt.

Find something you like, then buy it as cheaply as possible.

Buy the adidas climacool golf shoe range or the hi-tec ones padraig harrington wheres as they are both comfortable and according to harrington add 10 yards onto your drive!

Personally i am more of a nike guy too. Go with the Nike SP-5 for comfort. The reason i go with nike is because of their vast experiennce in tennis shoe comfort. Adidas has more of a traditional golf shoe that is not as comfortable.

Footjoy: Dryjoy's. since wearing these a few years ago, would never use anything else, you put a new pair of them on and they feel like you have been wearing them for ages, Brought a pair of light reeboc's last year for summer wear, after 1 round I could hardly walk for a week or so (big blisters) learnt my lesson, stick with what you know best.

                      Re: Golf Shoes - Footjoy...

I had a pair of eComforts. Was really happy with them for the $. Can be found in your price range. They have 2 different heal cusions and a 1 year waterproof warranty. HEre is FL, I get into some pretty swampy stuff chasing balls. Always dry feet.

Went to a lesson one day and forgot my eComforts (they were only a month old). Purchased a set of Footjoy Contours for 90.00 (pro shop dicounted them because I took lessons and was making a forced buy). These are even better and...I have a bad right foot. I raced Moto-x for years and crushed my right heel. Shoes are REALLY important to me. Either of these are great shoes. Oh yeah, the Contours have 2 year water proof warranty.

                        Danny,

Stick with Footjoy. I have a pair(90$) and they are the most comfortable shoe of all the shoes I own, including my sneakers!! So soft and comfy. They stay super dry on those dewdrop AM's.

                          Re: Golf Shoes

I have brought a cheapy set of shoe that hurt my feet, so I brought some sole inserts and they are just as comptable as my new balance joggers now. They have lasted me for the last year with no signs of being broken just a little off colour.
