  • Wedge Club Fitting?

Okay so I got fit for new clubs. I am thinking of getting new wedges along with irons. My question is...should the wedgesbe corrected as if the rest of the clubs that you are buying....I am 2 degree upright with a 1/2" longer length? It seems that all the wedges that you buy or see in stores are standard everything. Is it worth it to get some customized?

    thanks!

    Re: Wedge Club Fitting?

    Hi Brett,

There is no problem getting wedges fitted, your local pro can bend them for around £5.00 in the UK, it only takes around 5 minutes.

Bending it is easy I guess..but should I order them 1/2" longer as well? That will definitely cost more $ then getting good deals on ebay.

a shaft extension is only about $3/ea and one extension will extend 2 clubs. There would eb an additional cost to regrip the clubs as well, ~ $5/ea, total of under $15.

          Get 'er done.

Can you imagine what you'll try to do knowing that your wedges don't play the same as your irons?

Spend the extra cash, have peace of mind, enjoy more golf more often!
